He Had Wanted the Iseries Servers

Computers and Hardware August 27th, 2009

Sue took Jim to the computer store to buy one of the used iseries servers that had been advertised in the paper. When they arrived, there was a big long line outside of the store. When Jim walked up to the line and asked what it was for, everyone explained that they were there to get one of the used iseries servers that they had seen advertised for a very low price.

Jim was so frustrated that he just walked to the back of the line to wait his turn, and hope that they had bunches of the servers to go around. Sue was not happy about the line, because she really thought that it would be a quick stop and then they would be on their way to the mall.

By the time that Jim got to the end of the line, they had run out of the iseries servers and were selling used bladecenter servers for the same price. That is not what Jim had originally wanted, but took one anyway. He figured that since gave him a thirty day money back guarantee, that he might as well try it.

The used bladecenter worked really well for Jim for the next five years until he sold it back to the computer store because he was moving and did not need to take it with him.
