The Energy Tax Credit Rebate Is What Pushed Us to Have the Work Done
My wife and I were thinking about having some work done on our house. We wanted to get some new windows and doors and make our older home more efficient than it was. It was an older home built in the early 1900’s and was in need of some upgrades to make the home more energy efficient. We were concerned about the cost of doing such improvements just like anyone would be so we decided to look into it and possibly get some estimates. What we found out was pretty amazing, we learned we could get an energy tax rebate by having some of these energy upgrades done. An energy tax credit is exactly what helped change our minds about getting the work done. I am always skeptical of such rebates and things like that so I researched it as much as I could while working two different jobs at the time. From what I could tell it was a good deal and was meant to help people just like us so we would upgrade our home which would help cut down on heating and cooling costs. This energy tax rebate was a great thing for us because without the tax rebate we probably would have not done the whole project. Now it has been a year or so and we are glad we did it.
