Crazy T Shirts Idea Pays Off
Our twenty year old son quit college to design funny t shirts for a living. I wanted to support his decision, but my husband wanted to kill him. I convinced my husband to let him take a semester off and try the crazy t shirts thing to see how it went. I made sure that the school would take him back, if he decided to go back.
The first thing he did was buy a domain name to start his own website. I think that it had something to do with funny t shirts, but cannot remember the exact web address. He then hired a secretary who was really good with computer stuff, to help him upload the designs to the site. He worked for two weeks straight trying to get the crazy t shirts site up and running properly. When it finally was up, the sales started to roll in.
By the end of the trial semester that we had given him, he had made the funny t shirts site a success. My husband and I could argue with his decision no longer and just sit back and watch him build this dream of his. That has been twelve years ago, and I have to admit that the crazy t shirts thing has really paid off.
