They Were Supposed To Be Funny T Shirts
I let my brother pick out my parents gift for their fiftieth wedding anniversary. I had been very busy planning the party and dealing with the caterers that I forgot to get a gift. I called him about a week before to tell him to just get something, and put both of our names on it.
The day of the party, it was really crazy. I had to meet with the cake designers, to show them where to put the cake and the rental place was late with the tables and chairs. I would have loved to see what my brother picked out before my parents opened it, but I just did not have the time.
After we had eaten dinner and had cake, my parents were starting to open up their gifts. They had received some great funny t shirts from some very great friends. I would have loved to get them funny t shirts.
As they were opening the gift from my brother and me, I heard a huge gasp from my mother. She told me and my brother that we should be ashamed of ourselves and then closed the box. Come to find out, my brother had ordered himself some adult t shirts that were very vulgar and when they were delivered, he thought that they were the funny t shirts that he had ordered for them. My mother understood about the mix up but told my brother that he should not be wearing adult t shirts like that.
