Making A Statement With Wrought Iron Doors And Gates
When my husband and I closed on our first home, we wanted to make some changes to it, to make a statement to the neighborhood. I was thinking along the lines of redoing the landscaping but my husband added a little more into the mix than just the landscaping.
My husband wanted to have wrought iron doors and wrought iron gates installed and have our initial be on each of them. I loved the idea but was not sure that we could afford wrought iron gates and doors. I had never priced them but just the word wrought iron sounds expensive.
We decided to price them online and see if it was even doable. When we found a local company that does the ordering and installation both, we decided to go with them. They told us the prices of the doors, the gates and the installation and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we could afford it and the landscaping too.
The whole point of redoing the landscaping, and installing the wrought iron doors and wrought iron gates was to make a bold statement and announce our presence. I think that we accomplished that; since all of the neighbors have stopped over to tell us how nice our house looks.
