New Vinyl Windows For Our Old House
Last year when we had decided to sell our home we had a local real estate agent come out and tell us some of the improvements we should make to the house prior to putting it on the market. I expected her to tell us that we would need to put in all new vinyl windows and repaint most of the interior of the home. Those were things that I had wanted to do, but had just not had the time or the money.
When we walked around the inside and outside of the home the real estate agent did tell us that if we put in new vinyl windows we would be able to get most of that money back in return from the sale. She did not however mention to us that we needed to repaint the interior. I asked her about it, and she said that it was fine and not to worry about it.
I called and had three different estimates done for the window replacement job that was suggested to us, even though we knew it was probably going to be suggested. I went with the company that explained how the window replacement was going to improve the look of the house, save on energy costs and bring up the value of our home. They just seemed to know what they were talking about and I needed a company that was knowledgeable.
