I had a long list of servers to find for my boss, and I started by searching at the local computer shops. I only found two of the ten by going to them that were on my list, so I decided to turn to the internet. My boss had put dollar amounts next to each of the servers, to let me know that I should not go over that amount. I was able to stay under budget by a thousand dollars apiece for each of the system x servers that I ordered and about eight hundred under, with everything else.
My boss was so impressed with the amount of money that I saved on each of the orders, that he gave me an extra day of vacation paid for all of my hard work. I did not want to tell him that it only took me about four hours total to find all the great deals and order them. I think that I deserved the vacation day anyway, for saving him the money.
